What types of mis-selling can I claim for?

You may be entitled to make a PCP car finance claim if:
• A broker or lender used a Discretionary Commission Arrangement (DCA)

to increase your interest rate so they could earn a higher commission.
• You were charged more interest than necessary on your finance agreement.
• The terms of your agreement weren’t clearly explained, leaving you unsure about key details such as ownership or repayments.
• The lender failed to properly assess your affordability before approving the finance.

How do I know if I was mis-sold my motor finance?

You may have been mis-sold your car finance agreement if:
• You were charged a higher interest rate than you should have been.
• The dealer or broker received a commission that wasn’t properly disclosed to you.
• The terms of your agreement were unclear, misleading, or not fully explained at the time of sale.

How far back can I claim?

You are able to make a PCP car finance mis-selling claim on agreements dating back as far as 2007.

How much will I get back?

The FCA predicts that the average compensation per mis sold car finance agreement will be up to £700.
